Mapei ist ein ehemaliges Radsportteam italienischen und belgischen Ursprungs. Das Team war von 1992 bis 2003 im Peloton aktiv. Der Spitzname des Radsportteams war Squadra Azurra oder Blaue Armada. Besonders erfolgreich war das Team bei den Eintagesrennen und Fahrradklassikern. Gemeinsam zu gewinnen war das Motto von Mapei. Am ausgeprägtesten war dies in Paris-Roubaix, wo bis zu drei Mal die gesamte Etappe mit Radfahrern aus Mapei besetzt war. Im Jahr 2003 übernahm Quick Step das Team als Hauptsponsor. Das Quick Step-Team ist daher im Prinzip eine Fortsetzung von Mapei.
